Castle Quail

Terms and Conditions

All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges.

All items are subject to availability
The total price for the goods and delivery on your order will be stated at the time of order (unless excess delivery charges are required - applies to certain areas).
We are entitled to adjust our prices at any time including the change in price being due to an error or omission in the price published for the goods.  If this occurs we will notify you of the correct price and give you the chance to cancel your order.

All goods remain the property of Castle Quail until full payment within seven days is made and goods are delivered to the customer.

Castle Quail will dispatch your goods by the most appropriate method.  We will ensure that your goods are correctly packaged before dispatch but cannot accept liability for damage sustained by subsequent mis-treatment or delayed delivery where delivery is by a third party.

Frozen goods delivery

Frozen food orders will be dispatched Monday to Thursday.

Orders received on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched the following week.

Castle Quail will package  frozen goods to arrive still frozen.  On receipt of an order for frozen goods, Castle Quail arrange delivery and will inform the customer of the delivery day.  You will be contacted by telephone prior to dispatch to ensure you will be available to receive delivery.

Delivery of your parcel will be attempted once. If a delivery by courier cannot be made,  the parcel will be returned to the sorting office/courier's depot for collection by yourself.  It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that somebody is available at the delivery address to receive the frozen food order. Castle Quail accepts no responsibility for frozen food orders defrosted/spoiled because nobody was available to receive the delivery.

In the event of a frozen delivery not arriving on the agreed day,  the customer is obliged to immediately inform Castle Quail by telephone of the problem. Failure to inform Castle Quail of a  non-delivery of  frozen goods will invalidate any guarantee of safe arrival and customers will not be entitled to a replacement of their order.

In the unlikely event that your frozen food order does not reach you in satisfactory condition contact us within 12 hours of receipt. We cannot replace or exchange any frozen food reported back to us after this 12 hour period.

We reserve the right to postpone delivery of any frozen food orders which are placed during extreme weather conditions e.g. flood, deep snow, heat wave and the Christmas period.
